Central Okanagan Public Schools supervises its own homestay program.  Our homestay coordinators match students with host families based on their application profiles. We hope that our program will help to create relationships between host families and students that will last a lifetime.

Our homestay coordinators visit and ensure all homes meet our standards of care. Students live in neighborhoods located near schools or close to a school bus route for their schools.  All of our homes have yards and provide students with fully furnished private bedrooms.  Our families provide regular nutritious meals and snacks. Students participating in the Central Okanagan International Education Program have the option of living with one of our homestay families or arranging a private host family. All host families are expected to follow the BC K-12 International Student Homestay Guidelines.
