Throughout your school year, your program includes many exciting activities with your fellow international learners.


September – Green Bay New Student Welcome Orientation 

Experience all the Okanagan has to offer during your Welcome Orientation at picturesque Green Bay Camp in West Kelowna!  This 11-acre lakeside property offers 18 indoor and outdoor activities and a variety of water sports. 


October – Historic O'Keefe Ranch Visit & Haunted Corn Maze Tour

Have a "Spooktacular" evening at one of the Okanagan's most historic destinations!  Founded in 1867, O'Keefe Ranch transforms for Halloween so you can explore three haunted corn mazes and enjoy an outdoor BBQ dinner.

November – Kelowna Rockets Hockey Game

Feel the excitement of Canada's national sport at a Kelowna Rockets regular season WHL hockey game!  Cheer on our home team and take in all the action on and off the ice at Prospera Place!  


December – Holiday Movie Matinee & Visit with Santa

You'll feel the magic of the holidays with your host family during a private screening of a holiday movie classic!  Our program reserves an entire theater and the big guy in the red suit may even make a special visit to hand out candy canes and spread some holiday cheer!

January – World Cup Soccer Tournament & Indoor Ice Skating

You can skate on an indoor ice rink or play soccer with your friends at Kelowna's Capital News Center!  Our World Cup Soccer Tournament is always the most requested activity of the year because students have the opportunity to represent their country on a full size indoor turf field.  The competition is always intense and enthusiastic supporters pack the sidelines to cheer on their team!


February – Bowling Night

Enjoy a fun-filled evening of bowling as our program takes over Kelowna's largest bowling center at McCurdy Bowl.  Always a popular activity, this event gives you a chance to bowl multiple games and "strike" up conversations with friends from different schools.


March – Indoor Waterslides & Swimming

Try out all kinds of aquatic activities with an exciting afternoon at Kelowna's H2O!  This world-class water park features an Olympic-size pool, waterslides, and diving boards.

April – Kangaroo Creek Farm Visit

A fun day in a natural farm setting at Kangaroo Creek Farm!  You can interact with a variety of exotic and domestic animals and birds, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, peacocks, and parrots.  Experienced guides answer any questions and help students get up close for some unforgettable pictures!


May – Kettle Valley Steam Railway Tour

You'll ride in a vintage passenger coach or open air car on a preserved section of the Kettle Valley Railway.  Built between 1910-1915, the KVR "Kootenay to Coast Connection" is a unique part of our province's history and showcases 10 miles of truly incredible Okanagan vistas.  At 238 feet, the breathtaking view from Trout Creek Bridge and the sight and sound of the steam locomotive will create lasting memories!

June – Green Bay Farewell

Green Bay plays host one final time for students to come together by the lake, say their good byes and enjoy some exciting water sports and activities.
